How have I been changed? Being an eighth grade student at Gardner Newman comes with major responsibilities but there is never a doubt that you are loved by your teachers. I have learned many things this year from everyone around me. All of the administrators including the teachers have high expectations.
The expectations and responsibilities are simple, be prepared for class, be respectful, and be ready to learn because they will teach you. My favorite thing that we have done in science this year was tye dye. We did this when we were learning about waves. Everybody got to be creative and add their own style while learning.
Next year we will go to high school. While being nervous about starting at a new school I am very excited. I am ready to be in a larger environment, participate in high school sports, and be involved in clubs and activities. This year I have found one of my best friends. I have made many memories that I will remember for a lifetime.
