Teachers may not always be the best when it comes to reviewing, but for my Physical Science class, it's a different story. We spend the days or weeks before a major test to review as much as we need. For example, the past two weeks before the Georgia Milestones, we have been reviewing all of the information we have learned throughout the year.

We started reviewing by doing a project based on what we needed the most help on using GoAnimate. GoAnimate let us create cartoon videos by showing us different characters, voices, movements, etc. All we had to do for the most part was type in the dialogue. If may not have been everyone's favorite thing, but when we all presented our videos, we had a good time while taking in the year's information. Some videos were funny, some mainly informative. The voices could sound strange at times. One group even made their video using presidential candidates and political jokes, while still presenting their information. It was a unique and useful way to review.

The next week we got packets to work on with various questions that stretched across the whole year.  We didn't have to do all of it, mostly just what you needed.  It was a good refresher for things that some people probably had forgotten over time. It definitely helped me remember topics that were a little bit challenging before that I had chosen to forget about. It wasn't as different, but it still helped.

We all hate reviewing for the biggest tests of the year, but it is something we have to do so that we do well and pass on to the next grade. Reviewing helps us show all that we've got. Some teachers are better at helping us review, and I know that my Physical Science teacher is one of them.
